You can currently see a selection of my photographic etchings and screen prints in my solo exhibition in the Alternative Art Space (‘Le Loovre’) at Nottingham’s Surface Gallery. The exhibition was awarded to me as winner of The Surface Gallery Award in the 2022 Derby Print Open. I was given free reign with not only Le Loovre itself but the walls immediately outside it, and a completely free choice about what to exhibit, so I opted for 3 smaller exhibitions in one: ‘Dream in Colour’ (solar plate etchings and screen prints), ‘And my City Was Gone’ (photographs) and ‘Urban Dystopia’ (black and white photographs).

I will be donating all proceeds from the sale of all the items in the ‘Wonky but still Wonderful‘ section of my Etsy shop, as well as a number of other prints that were inspired by a trip to the Ukraine (indicated in the listing for each) to the ‘Help for Ukraine’ emergency appeal. The appeal is working with a number of Ukrainian charities and the Associations of Ukrainians in Great Britain to provide essential front line supplies to those affected by the war in Ukraine. I was delighted to have two of my screen prints, Big Yellow Taxi and Sale Fever, selected for the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists’ 2022 Print Prize Exhibition. They were exhibited at the gallery in January and February, and I was even more delighted to be one of 6 artists invited to take part in the artists’ talks at the gallery on February 5th. It was great to see my work (and other peoples’) in real life again, after the last couple of years of Covid restrictions!

You can currently see one of my pieces, ‘Apparition’ on display until the end of October 2022 at the Harley Gallery. It’s a lovely gallery in the delightful setting of the Welbeck Estate not far from Worksop.

I’m delighted that one of my prints is currently on display as part of the ‘In my Backyard’ exhibition at Castlemaine press in Victoria, Australia.
